 Cycling a quarantine tank I'm setting up a quarantine tank for the first time. It's a 29G tank filled with RO water. I have a HOB filter using a particulate matter filter, no carbon, and a bio wheel. I am wondering if I should add a couple of damsels to cycle this tank, or just feed the empty tank. Thanks!   |

 Re: Cycling a quarantine tank Get an old used filter pad or sponge from your display tank at next water change and use it to cycle your QT. It already has a source of nutrient and bacteria on it.
