Default pH questions

My pH is 7.4 to 7.5. Is that too low for fish (temporary)? Until I can get it to go up.

Which brings me to my next problem, how can I get it to go up? I am using a Seachem Marine Buffer (8.3) and have not seen it go up at all. I have been using it for about a week and nothing, if anything it as went down. And the carbonates are high, see the thread below for more info, which I think may be b/c of the buffer. What shoud I do? Help...

Default Re: pH questions

I posted in your other thread about your pH levels. As you've probably already noticed, fish, invert, and corals can survive levels when they are that low. No it isn't ideal in any way, but take your time to fix the problem correctly. First of stop using any pH adjusting additive and try to find the reason why your pH is so low. I posted a link to an article in the other thread that should help you out.
