| Hi Everyone, I have decided to build my own sump and need a good skimmer. This is for a 90 to 110 gal tank. I saw one while doing some reaserch that looked pritty good. It was an Aqua C EV-180 with a mag 7 to run the filter. Is this skimmer any good? It's almost $400 !! It is rated for 60-200 gals Also I was looking at the next step up. The EV-200 rated to 350 gal tanks. They both had a 275 gph rating. Is it worth the extra $ for the larger skimmer or is this over kill? Also while I have your attention, I also need a good return pump. I'm thinking it sould be able to pump about 1200 gph so that by the time it gets to the head I will effectivly have about 1000 gph. Sure would like come comments on a good reasonablelly priced pump and skimer. |
