You need to add nori to there diet. Use atleast 2 times a week.

It is best to feed less amounts more often with 4 or 5 types of food mixing it up. If you have coral then feeding 2 or 3 times a day smaller amounts would be best.

I feed flake in the morning then differant type of frozen at night and then i add a little after lights out a few hours. I only feed what they can eat in 2 min. This means much less chance of uneatin food collecting and assures fish waste that your bio filtration can handle.

If you have fish only and water quality thats off then feeding 1 time daily or ever other day might help . Also less fighting from fish if they are fead. I know i get really grumpy if im hungry.

I usually feed a small amount of various foods once a day in the evening, but often skip a day. The lighter the tank bioload and the more LR you have, the easier it is to skip feeding without the fish being affected.

I have fed my fish as a rule once a day mid day now late afternoon when I was working. I'm not sure why Lance is trying to feed Corals with "fish" foods. Corals will get some of the MYSIS or Brine shrimp but I feed my Corals DTs, Coral frenzy and Arctipods (not all at once) once a week or every 10 days. I stay away from flakes because of the phosphates.

You shouldent feed corals fish food like "flakes" I feed my fish ounce every other day thats it! If your fish are hungry they will eat the little salt water bugs you have alll over your tank. think about the ocean they dont get no 2,3,4 times a feedings there, they lucky they get fed 1 time a day

Hey Brian, I think you quoted the wrong guy, did you mean to quote Lance? I stated I don't use flakes and only feed once a day.

Seems like I have read that there is a certain amount of phosphate in flake foods and the uneaten food may cause problems. That said, if you don't feed more than the fish can consume in 2 minutes you probably won't have a problem.
