Default best beginner coral for you ?

mushroom or zoanthid ? we want to try something that
doesn't require high light, and is not too fussy
about changing water parameters. jim

If this is for the 14 biocube and it has stock lighting you would probably do well with either of those mentioned.

Any of the myriad of button polyps are a good choice.

You can try either one. I currently have several different types of corals under a single, standard NO flo bulb. Some of them are in a 20L tank and some are in a 29gal tank. Granted, I wouldn't be doing it if I wasn't for being able to get the frags for free out of my main reef tank. Besides for the slow growth, they are doing great. The corals that always do the best under very low light is mushrooms, followed by colts, then brown zoos, green star and yellow polyps. If you have PC lighting, any softy, mushroom, or zoos should do good.
