Folks Just joined your site. Excellent. I have keep fresh water fish for 35 years and just got a 75 that I intended on starting FOWLR. Very interested in a refuguim/sump. Any very basic DIY plans for a refugium from a 20 long( or what will fit under the stand)?? Would like protein skimmer, heaters to fit as well. Size of glass or plexi??? Just toss in bags of carbon ,ect....??? Any other mechanical filteration (sponge, floss)???? Also how do you figure return rates or size of sump pump?? Tank is drilled with 1" bulk head. Also will be building my own hood/light. How many and how "hot" should the tubes be??Lots of questions I know. Happy to be here.
