Default Heater Question???

Hi all,
I have a 100 watt heater heating my 30 gallon oceanic. I also have 19 lbs. of live rock in the tank. i have my heater hanging on the tanks back glass and the bottom of the heater is about 6" from the bottom of the tank. my live rock is along the back of the aquarium and was wondering if the the heater would damage the live rock???? the heater is not touching the live rock, but the live rock is about an inch from the bottom of the heater. any insight would be nice......

Also make sure the rock near the heater is secure. The last thing you want is to have a rock fall over & break the heater.
