Default Help in getting a tank built.

Hi All,

I'm new to this hobby, been studying for about 6 months now. The goal by the end of this thread is to have the needed information to have someone build a glass tank to my specs.

Tank size will be 72 x 33 x30 with the overflow on the outside back of the tank tanking covering the whole length. Approx size 300G.

I want the front of the tank to be Starphire glass any any top supporting beams to also be Starphire.

Does anybody know of any aquarium manufacture that uses Starphire and can build to certain specifications?

I understand the entire back of tank being an overflow will be expensive but I think the benefits will be worth it.

Appreciate any input and help.

thanks

macfishy

Glass cages would be a good place to start looking at tanks.

Ive heard mixed reviews about them. If I were to order a custom tank from them I would want to see the tank before paying. I am 3 hours away so it would be feasible for myself but not for others.

Hi Patrick,
I bought my current aquarium from glasscages and am fairly happy. There is some cosmetic problem with the finish on the edge of the front pane that I don't appreciate. Picking up the tank in the middle of the night, from the back of a semi, behind a truck stop, in the dark was a PITA. Take a friend and a pickup if you buy from them.
