i noticed last night that there were a bunch of legs laying in the sand and i thought that one of my crabs died. i found the 3 hermit crabs in the tank and they all look ok so my question is do they molt?

I found a thing on the internet about regular hermit crabs. It states that that is due to stress, not molting. I'm assuming that the same thing applies to saltwater, but I'm not sure.
