Default Getting a 7 stage DI system

Now that I will have this, when i mix my water do i still need to put Amquil to remove chlorine, i'm assuming no because part of the Di i bought removes it (

One of the filters does this:
to remove chlorine, chloramine, odor and chemicals

Thanks
Eric

No, your RO/DI unit should remove all contaminants.

Hmm...a 7-stage?

Sounds like an ebay system, no?

If so, get rid of the inline GAC filter (if any) after the DI stage, and

unclip your horizontal DI stages and mount them vertically with flow going in the bottom and out the top.

If you have a GAC prefilter as well as a carbon block prefilter, you can discard the GAC filter at 6 months and no need to replace it, unless you have chloramines. If so, you can put that empty housing to good use.
