Sounds like an ebay system, no? If so, get rid of the inline GAC filter (if any) after the DI stage, and unclip your horizontal DI stages and mount them vertically with flow going in the bottom and out the top. If you have a GAC prefilter as well as a carbon block prefilter, you can discard the GAC filter at 6 months and no need to replace it, unless you have chloramines.
