Default tank cleaning

i have a tank that i'd like to get ready for a reef aquarium. it was put away dirty.....lots of algae....etc. what can i safely use to clean it? btw it is glass. ty.

Hey I just recently asked the same question. I was told to use vinegar and water. Also a razor scraper. Going to clean mine this weekend. Good luck.

Be sure to keep the blade wet when scraping off the algae - it'll keep the glass from getting scratched.
