Default fish in reef tank

guy at lfs today said that i cant have fish in a reef tank it is one or the other he said i will have to many problems i am just starting out and am cycling a 125g tank thanks

not so, not so... all he needs is people who don't know whats what and he can sell anything he has that might be taking up room or has had for a few weeks and he wants to move it before it dies and he takes a loss. there are many examples throughout the country of people being in buisness that have no clue or scrupples. there are some fish you can't put in a reef tank, just the same as some fish need the reef. i don't like strong words but just at face value this owner is an idiot

i agree with the whole you don't have to know the buissness to get into the buisness....I.E radio shack you got questions we got answers, no matter what question you ask them its 'I Dunno'.

lowes and home depot arethe same way. take this from a tradesman who has gone looking for something and they told me i didn't need it.

some guy tried to tell me that to so i told him to do a little research and maybe he'll figure out the times have changed. not impossible but a little more work and monitoring.
