Default Comments for a New Setup???

Hello everybody. Im a beginner at saltwater setups. Ive been researching for a while now, collecting supplies and trying to get things going. I am patient and can wait to do it right. No rush. I am going to use a 30g display, with (2) 10g's for sumps/refugiums. I am attaching a pic to see what you guys think of my potential layout. Will this work? What should I add, take away, or consider. I hope the drawing makes sense, and i want to hear what you guys think about this possible setup. I want to run a reef tank with a few fish, probably damsels or clowns. etc for now. Any ideas/ comments?

Thanks in advance!

I'd find some place to put a protein skimmer.

I would do away with that filtering business and just go with a skimmer. The point of live rock is filtration.
Also, Mangroves are not going to be worth your while in this setup, they grow too slowly and you need dozens to affect your water quality.
The weak point is the siphon setup between the 2 sumps. How will you restart that in the event of a power failure?
