Im cycling 150lbs of it right now! Bought it from International Marine fish. I have limited knowledge on the subject but it seems like great stuff! Loaded with color and all kinds of stuff on it. GREAT SHOW PIECES! No extra charge for these huge junks! 20-25lbs each showpiece. Got about 5 lbs more than I ordered as I weighed it. $3.25 per lb shipping included. Picked up at airport the next day. Cant beat that. Ill post a pic of my tank if you want to see what it looks like. Nothing really happening yet though but it might help you make a decision as to what you want. Good Luck!

That is some nice LR but remember once you get your tank fully stocked with coral and such you'll hardly see it... I would find a source of base rock or diy rock then add LR on top.. you save some $$$

There are additional benifits to having LR in your tank. Its not just to look pretty. Thats why I have 100lbs in my tank and have never seen any dangerous levels since it cycled...

Yes, but given time, all the base rock and all will become live as long as it is seeded.
also, I got 80lbs for my 55 and 30lbs for my 30.

cant complain one bit!

well, to seed, all you need to do is have the rocks near eachother.

I get my rock form liveaquaria.com

Yeah, it might be a good idea to get some well covered coraline algae peices of LR.

Was they good sized?

how long did it take to get your LR? and also about how long did you have to cure it for?

Did it have alot of purple coraline algae on it?

I just got 50lbs from this guy, has a nice feedback and everyone who has got it has loved it!!!

Thanks For The Link
John

I will post some pics of it from opening box of each LR, to cleaning it and placing it to be cured.

Took about 10 days to reach my cycle. I started from scratch. No coraline when I got it it has it now though.

OK so my LR was cured for a few extra days before I got around to getting it in the DT. I have about 45-55 lbs in DT now and another 35-40 in my sump/fuge + 5-7 lbs of rubble

heres a link to a pic of my LR order I placed with mrmarine 50 lbs spread out before I placed in tank.

Hey guys since we're discussing LR and LS here I have a question I know you need about 1.5 per gallon but how much LS should you have per gallon. Also what is the average price for LR that comes Cured. For that matter LS too and what brand? I'm just full of questions.
