| New to the Hobby (Getting Started/Setting Up) Think you can upgrade to saltwater? Your probably very confused, but remember ask questions and you'll get your answers on here! |

 Blue hippo tang hi i have a 55 gal with inverts and live rock. i have a sailfin tang, firefish, goby, and a royal gramma. Do i have enough room for a blue hippo tang, just wondering if anyone would know.  |

| I would advise against it. Sailfin tang is enough. Granted some would say that you could add another. |

| Yeah....with a sailfin you're really pushing it in a 55 gal. I think the minimum tank size for a sailfin tang is supposed to be like 100 gals or something like that. The minimum for the blue hippo is 70 gals. Last edited by volitan_fa; 01-15-2007 at 10:34 PM.. Reason: Addition to comment |
