Default Best way to spot feed

I need to feed my anemone's. Is the best way to just fill a syringe with some food and squirt it near there mouth? I have some mysis shrimp will this be good enough for my anenomes? I have a pink tip and bubble tip anemone. Also have a frogspawn coral, how should I feed him.

Krazy K..Bowl feeding the sun coral has helped alot. Thanks for the tip.
On the other hand, my 4yo son got ahold of the cyclopeeze and squirted it in the tank. Killed both my clowns. Ammonia and either nitrate or nitrite were real high. Did a 3g water change thursday and it brought it down some will do another 3g next thursday and start doing a 1g change every week.

Glad to hear the bowl feeding is working now

You can get a turkey baster and use that for spot feeding, I'm not sure as to what the frogspawn eats, but mysis will be alright for the anemones, "silversides" cut up into small pieces work well too and they are more meaty, anything of the meaty nature though works, hell they will even eat pellets if you feed them that

Sorry to hear about the clowns We all know your sons intentions werent to kill them but rather feed the fishys like daddy so dont be to hard on him...

The water change was a very smart move "diluation is the solution"

you can even do a 1 gallon a day or every other day for a week if your still worried about the parameters...

Thanks. I didnt get mad at him, he didnt know better and it was my fault for leaving the food where he could get to it.
Everything else seems to be fine. My blue mandirin goby lived through it all.

I take my sun coral out of the tank and put him into a bowl of saltwater from the tank that is mixed with cyclopeeze and mysis shrimp. KK recommended I do this and it has really help with this type of coral. He is real shy and doesnt like a lot of light so he's not open very much during the day. You can sure tell when he's hungry though cause he will fully open up and show himself.
