 lighting a refugium What is the best light for a refugium. Have a 30gal fuge that i built myself and i need to know what type of light i should use  |

| Re: lighting a refugium You can use a standard light, such as a day glow or a standard PC or VHO light. It doesn't have to be that fancy.

| Re: lighting a refugium You don't need anything fancy for your refugium. A bulb with a k-value in the 5100k range seems to work the best. I use the Melev fuge bulb Melevsreef.com - Refugium Bulb I know other people that like to use the Light of America (LOA) outdoor light that can be found at Home Depot. |
