Default Is it time to add something?

Cycling tank for 22 days. Water parameters are all where they should be except Nitrates are at 5. Copepods everywhere including fuge. Brown algea (Diatoms) has just about all turned green. Alot of it is half inch long and pretty thick. Algea appears on glass as soon as I clean it off (within a day or 2). Coraline growing fast this week. All rock is getting that purple hue to it. IS IT FINALLY TIME TO ADD SOMETHING? ANYTHING! My family is going to kick me out of the house if they dont see something living in that tank soon! (they said copepods dont count, I personally am thrilled and excited) Wow! Its awesome!

When my tank had almost exactly your parameters I started adding my cleanup crew. Snails, red and blue leg hermits. Then after a week all the parameters sill looked good so I added three green chromis. I since have added two emerald crabs and will be adding a couple of fish monday. Haven't lost anything yet.

Yes! A small clean up crew was added today! 12 Blue Leg Hermits and 12 snails and an emerald crab. Snails headed up the glass and LR and hermits are eating the algea off the LR like crazy. Looks good so far. If all continues I will add some more next week. Tons of copepods all over. I will probably have to get something to keep these in check a little.
