Default Anemone Lifespan

I've read countless times Anemone's don't last long in captivity. I was wondering how long yours have lasted? and is it worth spending money on?

Given the proper conditions they should last for years...

I've had my green flower anemone now almost 2 yrs... My white flower is about a year now...
