It really depends what types of corals (if any) you would like to keep?

maybe some easy corals at first but would like to progress to harder ones but I don't want too buy a new light every time I step up in to the harder ones too keep. And thanks for the reply Ryan.

Break out the wallet & get MH or a T-5 set up. If you decide on T-5 be sure to get individual reflectors on the bulbs rather than one reflector covering all of them. You should be able to keep any type of coral.
