Default A quick trick for those filling a new tank that already has the sand in it

Take a top from a 5 gallon salt pail and place it in the tank as in the picture, pour the water on to the pail's top, as you can see in the picture there is no cloudyness, after I was done, the tank showed minimal cloudyness and was clear overnight..

Just a quick trick that'll save you 3-4 days of the water clearing up

actually all he/she is doing is making it so that the water flow is not hitting the sand and stirring it, that is all the cloudiness is. one thing you can also do is ron your water through your filter(if you have a hang on back filter), or you can just pour the water there it will hit some LR. But good idea krazy.
