Default Question about clean up crew

Okay just a quick question about my tank. Using pre-cured live rock, if after a couple of weeks my water tests are perfect and have only had one minimal spike, do you guys think it would be safe to begin slowly adding my clean-up crew to the tank? How long should I wait before I begin to slowly add coral to my tank?

Slowly is the key word

Give yourself at least a 3 week mark before adding some clean up crew members...

If you've had no spikes and your parameters look good, your probably good to go...

as for corals, wait a good month or so just to be on the safe side (you dont wanna buy something and have it die)

I agree with Krazy K on this one.

Stick with waiting a couple of weeks before adding the clean up crew. Then once you've added the clean up crew add a fish, then wait a week or two and add a coral. For your first tank you should add livestock slowly and research everything you get before adding it. Researching in general is a great practice, but for a new tank you should always know its requirements before hand considering new non-mature tanks often really limit what corals you can just "toss in".
