Default Have read a bunch but still have a million questions

HI.... new to the whole saltwater thing. I have always done freshwater and am finally after years and years of dreaming of a saltwater tank am finally getting one as a b-day gift. Have the stand and hood w/halide lighting which I am refinishing. Hopefully the 135 gallon all glass tank will be brought home next week. I am going to use a sump underneath the tank so that's where I will start my million questions. Any suggestion as to size of container I need for a 135 gallon tank? Oh, yeah... it is going to be a reef/fish tank. I have also read a lot about chillers? which do I use, chiller or heater or both and if heater, where do i place it in tank, in sump or both?
Is a UV sterilizer necessary or just an added, good to have item?
Oh, and what size of heater(s) should I get?
Okay, that's enough to start. I am going to purchase those parts next.
Thanks in advance
Rachel

I would definatly use a sump and a refugium my 65 is going too have a sump and refugium of almost 40 gallons.Chillers would depend on the wattage of your lights and how they heat the tank, I would say thats a 50/50 thing. As for heaters use two for safety reason 200 to 300 watts each in the sump.UV steralizers are a good thing to a degree. They will kill just about anything that will pass thru them including the pods you grow in the refugium.Look into an ozoneizer it just kills pathogens that might be harmful to your critter and will go a long way to keep your water very clear. They make some plastics very brittle so your protien skimmer and other tubing should be ozone safe. The drawback is the uvsteralizer is around 100$'s and the ozoneizer is about 300$'s but well worth it. There.....that should keep your mind jumping for a few days lol
