Default Green Algea and Watermellon Wrasse

We are continuing to have problems with Green Algea. I have been reading some of the posts and some other things online and one of the things that we did was to increase the flow in the tank as we were told that it would help the Star Polyps. It really hasn't helped the one that we are concerned about. Additionally, we are going to adjust the time on the MH light and see if that helps. We can literally "watch it grow" when the light is on. The light has to be on so I don't know what the heck to do. We clean it about 2 to 3 times a day and then sit down to watch the news and it gets all crappy again...

Additionally, we got a Watermellon Wrasse a couple of weeks ago and he picks on our fire fish something fierce. Are the Wrasses agressive? Our LFS said that they weren't but....

Our water has tested perfect... Why is this green stuff growing all over the glass? When I use the magnetic cleaner it goes into the tank like a powder. I am pulling my hair out!!!!!!

Are you using tap water or RO/DI water? How often are you feeding?

Get A Good Cleaning Crow Sometime You Just Cant Stop What Grows In Your Tank . I Have That Stuff In My Tank But My Yellow Tang Snails And My Wrasse Love It And Snails Will Eat It All Up Being That The Wrasse Don't Eat Him Just Get Small Big Snail Or A Yellow Tang They Love That Green Algea Stuff. When You Clean It Off The Glass All Your Doing Is Like Reseeding But When You Get Fish Or Snails That Like That Algea They Eat It And Something Eat Than Later So It's A Big Cycle. So Be Cool

What's your water quality like -- nitrates/phosphates? You may also want to get a UV sterilizer, or add ozone to your skimmer. How often are you feeding your fishes?

LFS Kit Hmmm any Idea what kit they used and what tests were done? If so what and what were all your levels. I only take water to test to the LFS when I want to double check my readings. How long has your tank been running? Where is your water source coming from? Reducing your lighting will help what kind of lighting are you using?
