Default Moving to Salt Water tank.

I presently have a 30 gal fresh water tank. What will I have to do to move to salt water? Do I need to replace the tank filter, etc.. I am using a Fluval Canister Filter.

Yes, I read the starter guide and started looking at aquariums, any feedback on those. I have decided to keep my Fresh water setup Fresh water and add another Salt water aquarium in my basement. What size is recommended? I figure the spot where I would liek to sewt it up would have a 36" wall space. All comments are appreciated.

36" limits you a lot. You could get a 50 gal or 65 gal that is 36" wide. I would suggest go as big as you can afford, it helps with your water stability.

Are you familiar with a Corner type tank that would be bigger but no longer than 36"

I would bet a 75 gallon corner wouldn't be bigger than 36". That's just a guess off the top of my head though...I'm not sure on corner tank dimensions.
