 Live Rock in a Fish Only will the algea, organisms, coral, etc. on live rock grow in a fish only tank with fish-only lighting? I think it has 40 watts for a 55gallon. Or is the live rock only beneficial because of the bacteria it has in it?  |

| Re: Live Rock in a Fish Only It definitely will grow but not at the rate it would under higher wattage lighting. The bacteria for filtering is what is really beneficial.
