Default adding copepods

for those of us without a refugium in our immediate future how often , if at all, should i add copepods. From what I've read my six-line wrasse will make short work of cleaning them out.?

Hard to answer. How much LR do you have? Copepods need nooks and crannies to hide. I guess you could "kick start" your tank.

drop them in when lights out! Then they will have chance to hide and seed the tank some.

The best way to maintain a fairly stable copepod population is to provide them with shelter. Like it was said above, plenty of live rock will help. I personally have made a small, inaccessible cave for my copepods in one corner of an old tank. I took like 3 or 4 small pieces of live rock and made a cave where my six-line was unable to get into and dumped my bottle of copepods into it.

They maintained pretty good numbers up until my tank crashed.
