Default bright green algae

I've been having an algae bloom for about a week....I clean the tank glass and with in hours it is back on ther glass. The hairy green algae seems to be slowing down but this stuff is rolling.....what is it?...should I be concerned? how can I get it under control?

How long you been set up, what is your water source, what is your substrate, what test kits do you have and the readings, do you have a skimmer, how and what are you feeding/adding? what is the flight speed of an African Swallow lol

Steevo, thanks for the reply...
1) Been set up 5 months
2) only RO water
3) liverock and live sand
4) no kits but the LS says all is well in the water dept...
5) protein skimmer
6) Mysis Shrimp
7) pretty friggin fast....thanks for your help...AP
