i was feeding it live rosy reds, but now its live SW white shrimp ill feed is rosys again soon and ill put a vid of it up on youtube and post the link here.

nice but when i was at peco i saw them feeding theirs adn well they did they stupid way of goldfish feeding.

well most or some pet stores feed their lion fish goldfish but that is bad because they are not enought in nutritional value. that is a cheap bad adn unhealthy way to go like eating mcdonalds for all 3 meals for ur life.

i know, but he goes through the shrimp so quickly, so ill get him shrimp maybe a few times a month, the rest of the time will be a treat....he seems to like the fish better anyway.

u can also get some small fish. like a damsel and feed it to ur lion

Try mollies. I used to have a lion fish and I would feed it mollies. If you acclimate them slowly they will survive in the saltwater.

I used to get 4 mollies for a dollar. I fed it 4 times a week 4 mollies at a time so it cost me 4 bucks a week.

yea and remem only mollies not plates and take about 6 hours to introduce them to saltwater.

You have to acclimate them slowly, like using the drip method. Every once in a while i would have one of the mollies die on me.

Yeah i used to have a frogfish also. I fed him mollies also. That was way more fun to watch than the lion fish. He would stick his little antenna bait thingy out there and the mollies would come in to get it and BAM he would swallow them whole. It was so cool to watch. You could still see the molly squirming around in his belly.

yeah, right now my lion is a little too small to swallow the rosys whole, but at the lfs ive seen them eat and it is really neat to watch! same with puffers.
