Default Tank Looks Great After 2 Weeks?

I Have A New Salt 125 Gal Tank Added Sand And Lr Have Wet/dri Set Up And Will Have Ps Before Weekend Is Out. Add Kick As* Current Supper Whammy Light (does Everything But Make Coffee) Waiting For Tank To Cycle Before Adding 1 Fish. I've Been Readying For Days Now Alot Of Opinions Out There From Adding Fish Now To Killing Goldfish. I Don't Want To Kill Anything. I'm Going To Do A 15gal Water Change This Weekend. Have Water (ro) And Salt Going In Circles As We Speak, For A 24hr Period. Will Drain And Replenish.
I'm Going To Add Another Water Inlrt To Top Of Tank Too
I Guess I Will Be Busy This Weekend. Snowing Here Anyways
Water Temp Is 81-85 When Mh Light Are On.
This Concerns Me Too. Do We Have Any Reefers In Pa In Forum?
So Why Don't I Ave Some Kind Of Alge By Know?

Your tank will have to cycle before you really start seeing algae growth. Coralline algae takes a long time to see. Diatom, not so much.

To jumpstart your cycle, I recommend adding a raw, cleaned shrimp to your tank (from the grocery store). This is probably the most humane yet effective technique. It does look like you have your work cut out for you this weekend. Do you have plans for chilling your tank or adding a fan across the water? You really want a stable temp at all times. Good luck with all of it!
