| New to the Hobby (Getting Started/Setting Up) Think you can upgrade to saltwater? Your probably very confused, but remember ask questions and you'll get your answers on here! |

 Items i need????? Ok.... so i found this quietflow-600 OVERFLOW Wet Dry Filter REFUGIUM. My tank is a 55 gl so will this work for my tank? It said it handle up to 600 gallons per hour. Or is this to much? would i need more than one? Also i found this Model 75 Pro-Clear Aquatic Systems Wet/Dry Filter. If get that do i need to get the other one? I have include pics of them... also would this work as a sump or fuge? also would i need to get a protein skimmer still? I have so many questions.... I am gonna wait for lights... but i was told i need the filters, protein skimmer and a sump or fuge.... If any one has any sites that i can go look at that would give me a better idea of what i need please feel free to add them i need all the help i can get. MY tank was a 55 gl freshwater, but i am gonna try and make it a salt... any suggestions?  |

| Re: Items i need????? Well if you are rich and famous one of those things just might work. Why dont you consider a cheap retrofit on a 20 gallon tank for your fuge/sump?First things first, How are you going to get the water from your tank to the fuge?Is your tank drilled and have an overflow? |

| Re: Items i need????? Well i thought about drilling it... some one told me i could take the tank it to my fish store and they will do it, how would an over flow work? Im not even sure how to hook it all up |

| Re: Items i need????? If the lfs does it they should install the basic pipes for the overflow. It will have 2 pipes. One going down to the sump and one coming back to the tank after skimming. In the sump is a return pump that sends the water up.I had them do this to a 65 and they also put a blue film on the back of the tank to help hide wires and pipes. It cost 75$'s. |

| Re: Items i need????? It is the Hang On ProFuge for $129.00 that dee is recommending it includes a skimmer  You can use either Live Sand or Mud!

| Re: Items i need????? It will be a little more tricky getting a skimmer for your wet dry. Unless you get a hang on the tank skimmer...Its nice to be able to put it in your sump but yours measures 7"x" and 15" tall. Only one I could find that would work with that. |
