Default Set-up for a newbie

What's the best set-up for a newbie? Something that don't need much attention.

I'd like to know the answer to this too. I'm still considering whether to make the investment and take the plunge.

a fish only tank needs less work than a reef tank less expensive but you still need to study the fish and know what they need each fish has its own needs

Your set-up looked big. How many fishes do you have there?

I'm also researching for an easy set-up. I'm totally new to saltwater. I kept a freshwater tank for more than 10 years but I haven't been really interested.

I always thought there was nothing to taking care of fish; but I can see there is much more involved than meets the eye. My mom took care of the aquarium when we had it..and she took care of us..Wow, did she have lots to do!

Freshwater tanks are easy and little require very little maint. after they are established, but this salt water thing does look like a whole different animal.

The link above is a great link for fish and other salwater critters. Do you have any links with setup info. I have looked around here in the forum, but I might be missing something. If I am asking a question that has already been asked, I apologize. TIA

Yeah, saltwater is a whole other animal, but VERY rewarding IMO. You'll love it once you get into and be addicted for life. All warnings aside...
