| API and Red Sea reeflab there are two.. i'll test for the rest of the week making no changes at all and see where im at. I just thought maybe i was doing something wrong.. But if you look at my other post you could see that my regimen is normal (barring the fact that I added too much livestock at one point)

| I would love to believe that my friend, I really would, but from what I have read it seems almost impossible.. I got cured rock from my lfs and live sand from the bag.. there was im sure some die off. but with the ammonia and 2 daily feedings there should definatley be some Ammonia and such.

| The reeflab was about 30 something dollars.. it tests No3 PO4 Ca, here is the link to it.. Red Sea Reef Lab When you say way off for API how far off were you? The way I see it is if there are any ammounts of ammonia in your water it should show up as a different color at some point right even after a bunch of tests.

| Half of the API tests did not have chemicals that dissolved properly. But for the ones that did: NO3 60~ppm vs salifert's 25ppm. Lot less work to fix and less freaking out.

| Hey I had kinda the same thing going on for quite some time about 3 weeks. I use the API master test kit and had perfect readings the whole time so i took a sample to the LFS and they said it was cool so i bought fish that moment and havent had an issue yet no losses and now i can see changes after the tank has been running about 3 months now |

| When you say changes, what are you seeing? You starting to see Algae? and

| I use the salifert kits as well. I have used red sea a coralife in the past with much varying results. Saltwaterfish.com has the salifert kits and they are very reasonable. Let me ask you: you put all these specimens in a brand new tank? Is there LR in the tank? And can someone teach kh6sat how to post?
