| Black Tang is my vote |
| ||||
| A firefish, diamond goby or six-line wrasse are always neat fish. They also don't get too large and should would be compatible with the clown. |
| ||||
| Diamond gobies are my favorite fish in all seriousness. They are so active and way cool. Always gobbling up sand and what not...Love them. They would be my real vote |
| ||||
| Firefish are pretty fun!

| Damsels and pseudochromis from my understanding are very territorial and the pseudo love shrimp so...so you could see why e_baer would love to get rid of his lol...tangs are gonna be too space wanting for such a small tank. The minimum any tang should be in is 75 gallons and that's only one type of species. I must say though e_baer has a good idea I just got a jawfish for my 29 gallon biocube and he rocks. They are very peaceful fish Here you can see him in his burrow, it's now much larger and covered in shells and pieces of rock frags ![]()

| Lol least he'll have no one to bother him, but yeah that's the same kind as mine. Pearly/yellowhead = same thing

| does anyone have any info on breeding the yellowhead? I am debating whether or not to get a mated pair form Sea Life Inc. and then keeping them in the sump/fuge/corap propogation atnk by themselves.

| I honestly think in the smaller tanks, I also have a 29 its better to just have a large school of fish, I have had everything in my 29, now I have a large tank and 12 striped damsels, Having a school of lil buggers is much more appealing then a few clowns or whatever other fish.. I say go for a school of damsels or better yet blue/green chromis.. |
| ||||
| Striped damsels and damsels in general are very aggresive though so i'd rather have a peaceful tank than little nippers ![]()

| Ebaer, if you're gonna get jawfish, get two. They are much more entertaining watching them steal pieces of rock from the other's burrow. They are very cool fish to watch. The only bad thing is that they are so peaceful that during feeding, the other fish can and will gobble up all the food before the jawfish eat. It depends on your other specimens. If you have damsel or chromis, they will munch all the food before the poor little jawfish have a chance. Jawfish work the best in a species tank.

| I have a 24 gallon and since I've had it set up I had a six line wrasse, a Bali starfish, and a blue and pink spotted goby, with some snails and crabs. Recently I had to take my goby out because he was just getting way to big for my tank. I loved him though he was so fun to watch. I am thinking about what to add now as well... I was thinking I might add a mandarine goby, or a purple firefish. I know I'm going to get a pearly jawfish and a ocellaris clown fish. Blackcap basslets are also nice fish for small aquariums. |
