I know, I've got that spray bar out of the tank with the shrimp still in it and I'm looking at all the mantis pics I can find. I'll try a couple more pics, too

that's what I'm thinking too. These next five pictures (uploading now) might confirm. I also thought I heard a "pop" but I don't know if it was my imagination or not. If this IS a mantis, this $5 spraybar has already paid for itself about 50 times over!!!

I was actually going to run to the LFS tonight but was going to blow it off since I spent so much time mantis hunting! I'll run up there and get a water test and throw the mantis in the test water container! I'll be back in a couple hours! Maybe they'll give me a little bit of credit for unintentionally trying to sabotage my tank!!

| I'm not dissing you or anything, it's just when people get advice they like to hear it backed up with cold hard facts

They appologized over and over and over. They tested the water and it came back good 0/0/<20, Ph=8.3. I was planning on waiting another week and then retesting and adding a cleanup crew, but to make up for giving me a mantis, they gave me a small CuC of 2 margarita snails, 2 astrea snails and 2 red reef hermits. Like I said, I was going to go ahead and wait another week before adding them, but since they were pushing them on me, I went ahead and brought them home. Anyone foresee any problems with going ahead and acclimating them and adding them? I'd really like to get them in and try to head off some of this diatom and hair algae before it takes over any more than it already has.
