Default Another set up.. Lace Rock?

Ok I gave in and started another tank. Something small for my mom. Its a 20 gal Long, live sand (deepbed about 3 inches) both live caribean and black Tahitian Moon sand mixed. Right now its running with just the water and sand becuase i want to use lace rock as base rock because i think landscaping is going to be easier. it going to be a FOWLR tank maybe an anenome or two. So my question is.. has anyone used lace rock as base rock, and if so whats the outcome. heres a pic of it so far.

I like that sand mix (kind of exotic), but sorry can't help on the lace rock question.

I had never heard of lace rock in marine tanks; thought it was only freshwater. check this out:

We definitely learn something new every single day in this hobby. (this is off another forum...I hope I don't get suspended for this)
