| I would do 10 percent for your first change. Then later in life do 10 percent biweekly or 20 percent monthly. But thats at a larger tank I have no idea if the rules change for a nano. |

| What are your water peramiters? |

| not really, typically people do a 10% change every week.

| Even when things get stable? Is it different if you have a big tank? |
| ||||
| Most people do 5-10-20 percent water changes per week. Not sure if the first water change should be more, but I would think not less.

| Your complete percentage keeps going up. Its very encouraging... |
| ||||
| LOL. I meant some people do 5%, some do 10% and some do 20%. Not going up but consistant.

| I think he was talking about your reef being complete percentage. I did a 3 gallon water change last night on my 29 gallon tank.. I made sure the Temp and SG were the same. Everything looked good this am. Tonz you asked my water params.... Everything was flat except PH, PH was at 8.2

But 100% new water would deplete alot of the organisms no? It would make sense to me that changing out at a max would be 75% only because after a fresh tank cycle the organisms and bacteria are still fragile and have just started forming and replicating.. it would seem that a 100% would kill most off and hinder bacteria replciation unless most bacteria sit in the filters.. What are your thoughts?

| thats is exactly why i only suggestes a 3g change. maybe next week you can raise it up to a 5g change. do a 5g change for maybe 3 weeks then go back ot a 3g change. besides, all your levels are good. PH is fine and everyhting else is at 0ppm.
