Default I must be crazy!!

ok I just came to find out I'm NUTS!!! I waqs at the beach today here in NJ and since my moms tank is empty... well I got a little daring. I picked up a few rocks with some agea/seaweed, a few snails, and some hermies. They are currently in the drip now for 2 hours. I'm going to drip for 4 or 5 hours to test my luck. 90% of the rocks were dry not out of the water, only thing from the water were the rocks with the agea/seaweed. My mom was thrilled so I'm going to need everyone to cross there fingers. My plan is to have a "local" tank. I'll post pics once things are going.... or not.

Ok here are some pics... Let me know how crazy youthink I am LOL.

The fish in the pic, not sure what it is... is already eating!! i threw in some mysis and he quick ate them up! someone caught him with a net and just left him on the sand to die, he was pretty stressed out and i didn't think he was going to make it but I brought him home to try and save him. I don't know if he will live but if he does I think he will make a good addition.

I went to Sandy Hook. its a 20L ehem ii pro 2, and penguin 100 ( it sounds like alot of filtrating but I'm not sure of the fishes waste and eating habbits yet). It looks like its running really well right now. I'll keep you posted.. Oh by the way the hermies seem very terrritorial (hope i spelled that right) they seem to fight for a quick sec. then they are over it.

thats really neat! i think if i ever see a tank at a yard sale or something ill get it and keep it in my garage and have some cool stuff like that in there! grab a bucnh of rocks, some sand from the beach, maybe even a little water! i was gonna kayak from carnegie lake in princeton down the millstone river out to sandy hook, then down to ocean grove beach. but my friend want able to make it, so we will have to go another time.

Looks like a sea robbin. They are not good eatin, so a lot of fisherman just toss them on the beach . Punishment for stealing there bait.
