Default Can I use part of my proclear wet/dry filter as a refugium?

I have the 150 model. And im talking about using the first section of the filter as a refugium instead of a protein skimmer. Will this work or am I really confused on something? What will I have to do to do this?

Also I have a different skimmer so I will be using one still.

Here is a Link to the Proclear website, I have the 150 model. Pro Wet Dry

yeah, i dont see why not. you would need a light though. something wiht 6500k or higher would be fine. add some plants and a little sand, and your good to go!

You would be better off to use the 2nd chamber as the refugium. Keep the skimmer in the 1st.
