Default A problem with my sand?

I've had my saltwater tank for about a month now, and so far, it's been doing great. I've had some Damsels in it for a while, and recently, some parts of my sand have browish spots on them. Is it just old food, or is something wrong? I'm going to the store tomorrow to ask them some questions, but if anyone here can help me out now, that would be great.

I'm putting a picture up. Will this problem affect my fish in any way?

Is there any kind of equipment anyone could recommend? Or are there certain animals that could sift through this in the sand?

So it won't make my fish sick or anything? Also, aren't there certain kinds of crab that like to eat this stuff?

You could add a clean up crew..but I would wait until it got a little "thicker" It won't make your fish sick and it will go away on it's own if you wait it out....but if you are getting impatient like most of us do you could just get a few blue legged hermits and maybe a coulple turbo snails and they will help clean it up.
