| What is your tank shape? I have a 54 gallon corner and use 2 Zoo powerheads 450gph |

| They work to give you a random pattern but do require cleaning every so often to keep them moving back & forth. If you have the money, Hydor Koralia are very good & move a ton of water. The old reliable MJ are good too. You can also get a flow deflector that goes on the output of the ph to get random flow patterns. The MJ 1200 move a good amount of water but at the price of using 20 watts of power & can add unwanted heat to your tank.

| I would personally not do the swivel style power head. I would just go with two stationary power heads. In about a month the swivel feature breaks unless constantly maintained like glampka said already. |
