| New to the Hobby (Getting Started/Setting Up) Think you can upgrade to saltwater? Your probably very confused, but remember ask questions and you'll get your answers on here! |

 live rock well after all the test cheked out good i'm gioing to add live rock but i have some questioins. first how do i put it into my new tank and what kind to get and if i have live rock do i really eed live sand or can i add it later  |

| You can just add live rock right in to your tank. but first i would take it one piece at a time and clean all the previous die off with a toothbrush. the live sand would just act like another bio filter. it really depends on what you want to do but i do recommend it. Also they do have diffrent types of LR but they will all do the same thing. some comes with different shapes and hitchikers! Good luck |

| You can go without live sand, but I like it. There is a thing called bare-bottom method, you can look into that. |
