Default MH bulb replacement question

I have a three month old Current USA, Outer Orbit light with 2 150w 10k MH and 4 39w T5 (2 blue /2 white) over my 65 gal (36x18x22h) SPS reef tank.

I don't like the brownish tint the 10k light puts in my tank. I’ve seen a comparison of 10k, 14k and 20k in tanks at a LFS and they all look significantly different (progressively better as you go up in k).

Before I order replacement bulbs I would like a second (3rd, 4th, 5th.... ) opinion.

Should I go with 20k and deal with the reduced par or should I go with a 14k with a higher blue output like a Phoenix?

Thanks

Most of your LFS use a 20k. Its more purple. Corals look amazing under this light. if you go blue or white there colors will become less bright and vibrant IMO. I would go with 20k

The light I'd like to have is almost colorless. Maybe it's actualy blue but I just can't see it.

I would go with the 14k Phoenix. Thats what I use and it is an awesome bulb. It has enough blue to make your corals look good and enough sun to grow them.

I have the the Current Outer Orbit 24" with one 150w hqi and 4 t5's on my 30gal reef and the 10,000 that came with it was too yellow for my liking so I ordered Giesemann Megachrome whitish blue in 14500K and very happy with color and growth rate of my Acro's and clams. I have had this bulb for two months and my green slimer has grown 1/4 inch in that time. All my corals seem to really like this light.

Just my observations

GoodLuck

I "hear" , SPS corals do better under 14k than 20k due to he higher par...do you agree?
This would be my only reason for going with a 14k over a 20k.
