Default Sump pics and question

I built the sump, needs a little clean up but came out ok. The question is can a 20g sump handle 1400 - 1600 gallons an hour?

I don't know the answer either, but I would think it would be like a rapid in there...get a small thin piece of balsa wood and put a snail or hermit crab on and watch him surf the white water...

That sound like way too much flow for that size. I am planing on having about 350-400gph when I make mine. I am guessing you might want to go 600-800gph. What is your head pressure looking like? What is the gph pump you are using?
