Default White Build up on side of tank?

Ok I'm like alot of other people in here, I'm new to my saltwater tank adventures and we just sat up our 26 gallon tank last weekend and well I haven't bought any fish yet because I've heard not to buy any fish a at least 2 weeks after its been set up...Well I have noticed theres this white stuff on the sides of the tank and its starting to cover the powerhead as well...almost looks like white algae...any ideas of what it could be and how to fix it???

Thanks for your help!!!

You should be able to wipe the dust off. If you have any powerheads or your return water hitting the substrate you'll probably always get some "dust" flying around.

Patience Grasshopper, it will pass lol, you could put a foam cover on the intake of your powerhead and stir things up a bit
