 lost aclown After 3 weeks of everything going great I had one of my clowns jump in the filter and was in bad shape whenI found him unfortunatly he died. Now can I add another or will the other one not accept a new clown. If not what other kind of fish should I try. Its a new 10 gallon Nano over 10 weeks old and looking great. AnyIdeas  |

| Re: lost aclown I heard that if you get a clown for a tank that already has a clown in it they will fight.

| Re: lost aclown If you have LR or PVC pipe in there you may want to move them around before you place the 2nd one in, that way the territory is new to both fish. Just a thought, sorry for your loss and best wishes for your future purchases. |

| Re: lost aclown sry for your loss. clowns change sex so they will pair, its just that initial introduction that you have to work around. moving whatever is in the tank around will help. it may also help to take the established clown out for a day or two and then add him back in before the new one can establish anything!
