Default next step

Thanks to everyone for the tips and advice. I have finally gotten my nitrates under 10. I guess it is the combination of water changes and the red magroove plants.
Does anyone have experience with the red mangrooves? How has your experience been? I added 15 to my sump and look like 14 are going to make it. I still want to get the nitrates down to unmeasureable. I am looking to add to mycleaning crew.
I have a 120 gal FALR/LS with a sump. How much and of what you and I have?
I am looking for some cool creatures in addition to hermit crabs and snails?
Has anyone had a horseshoe crab? What about a conch? Do the cleaner clams work? Sally lightfoot? Urchins? worth having
Last question today
Chemicals What should I be adding daily and weekly?
Thx Skidog

I have a black long spined and a horseshoe crab. I saw the crab the first day then it went into the sand never to be seen again. The Urchin is my favorite to watch. I wouldnt go adding stuff unless your levels are at zero though. What filtration are you going with?

I have all my filteration in the sump. I have media fiber for the water coming back down from the tank and a skimmer. The tank has LS in the sump and in the tank itself. I also have 100+ lbs of LR. I also just added Red mangrooves to the sump about a month. Do I need to add something?

If you're doing regular water changes you don't need to add anything. Since you're fish only, you don't have anything using up the trace elements. Less is better!

How often do you do water changes?
I have heard weekly, bi-monthly, every three weeks and some people who don't do any?
