i just got 5 green chromis.... they all look healthy and are eating like champs i also have a fire shrimp in my QT with them... how long should i keep them in there for if no signs of ick or other illness????

I dont QT inverts. If there was a illness you cant treat with copper anyway. Hey Becky do you QT inverts?

You can QT inverts but you might as well set up a special tank for that. I don't mess with it.

Some say 2. Really, most people are looking for the most visable problems like ich...some parasites are not so 'out there'. Depending on where you get your livestock, you can get a host of things. I like 3 weeks, if I can handle looking at a fish sitting in QT for 2 weeks, what is a few days more just to be safe?

Do you think i should take my shrimp out and put it in my display tank? "sidebar" thanks for the advice i am going with 3 weeks i am on number two now and your correct whats a few days
