Default molting emerald crab

Do emerald crabs molt like shrimp do? I found a body which i thought was my crab coupledays later I see the crab, The body i found looks liekabody not a molted skin it felt plump I couldve swore it wasteh crab i picked out.

Yes they do molt. It will look like something tore into it and ate it. There is a leg. pincher over there ect. There shells are very brittle. I add a little Iodine to my tank when ever I see this. Be carefull you can over dose...

thats teh first time the crab has done that, My shrimp molt like crazy,is that a good sign? Ihave to shrimp in mt DT andi pull a molted skin out atleast 2 every 2 weeks

crab and both shrimp molted all within a week
