But a a good skimmer that hangs on the tank should be fine though right.. I sump just makes thing "easier"???

As long as there is ample room in the tank the fish will stay away from the anemone and you should be ok.

all anemones sting. They will sting other fish and hurt them but if there is enough room the other fish will know that they need to stay away from the anemone.

ok well anyway i dont even have a it running, i whant to make my 55g to saltwater. and wanted to know if mi current filter will be enough. i have a topfin 60 (for a 60 gallon) will i need a stronger filter or could i just add an undergravel filter with two 160 gph powerheads?
